# Circus review (2026)

> Circus is the casino for players who care about payments: it takes iDEAL, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and Maestro, charges no withdrawal fees, has no minimum withdrawal and says most withdrawals are processed within a few hours. The Kansspelautoriteit hasn’t fined it, though it warned the operator twice in 2025. Its weak spots: live chat runs from 8 a.m. to midnight rather than around the clock, it doesn’t publish its game count or studios, and few people have rated its app.

It ranks #6 in [our ranking of the best online casinos in the Netherlands](https://safebet.ai/nl/online-casinos/).

## Is Circus legal in the Netherlands?

Yes. Cortex Holding S.A. holds licence 1830 from the Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa) for online casino games, sports betting and horse-race betting, valid from March 9, 2022 to March 9, 2027, and circus.nl is on the Ksa’s list of licence holders; Circus’s help centre names the same company and licence. The Ksa hasn’t fined it. It warned the operator twice in 2025: in May for an ad shown inside a mobile game, which Circus then removed, and in July for offering bets on winning or losing a tennis set, which Dutch rules don’t allow. Check any site with our [Dutch licence check](https://safebet.ai/nl/online-casinos/licence-check/).

## Games

Circus offers slots, table games such as blackjack, poker and roulette, a live casino and casino tournaments. It doesn’t publish how many games it has or which studios supply them. Each game’s rules and payout percentage are behind its info or paytable icon, and, as at every licensed Dutch casino, there’s no autoplay.

Every player must set a deposit limit before playing; raising it needs Customer Care’s approval and a 7-day cooling-off period. You can set session limits per day, week or month, and the net deposit limit is €300 a month if you’re under 24, or €700 from 24, as Dutch rules require.

Support is by live chat every day from 8 a.m. to midnight, and by email to support@circus.nl; its help centre mentions phone support, but we found no number or hours. - **Players who withdraw small amounts**, with no fees or minimum.
- **Not for** players who want help in the middle of the night.

## Our verdict

Circus pairs the most flexible payments in our ranking with fast, free withdrawals and a clean record on fines, which earns it a place despite limited support hours and an unpublished game library.
