# Virgin Games review (2026)

> Virgin Games has the most-rated app in our UK ranking: 4.67 on iOS from more than 44,000 ratings. It offers slots, Slingo, a live casino and 90-, 80- and 75-ball bingo, processes withdrawals within 4 to 24 hours and answers live chat 24/7. Like its sister site Jackpotjoy, it's run by Gamesys Operations Limited, which was fined £6,071,292 in November 2023, and it's removing PayPal in October 2026. Jackpotjoy ranks a place higher because it adds a sportsbook to the same casino and bingo.

## What is Virgin Games?

Virgin Games is an online casino and bingo brand run by Gamesys Operations Limited, which also runs Jackpotjoy, MONOPOLY Casino, Double Bubble Bingo, Rainbow Riches Casino and Bally Casino. It ranks #6 in [our ranking of the best online casinos in the UK](https://safebet.ai/uk/online-casinos/).

## Is Virgin Games licensed in the UK?

Yes. Gamesys Operations Limited has held a Gambling Commission remote licence for casino and bingo since November 1, 2014 (account 38905, licence 038905-R-319430-023). The Commission's register lists virgingames.com on that licence with the status "White Label": Gamesys runs the site and is responsible for it under its own licence. Its record isn't clean. On November 22, 2023 the Commission fined Gamesys £6,071,292, including a divestment of £165,042, issued an official warning and added a condition to its licence, after finding anti-money-laundering and customer-interaction failures between November 2021 and July 2022. The Commission found no evidence that the customers it looked at had deposited criminal money. We found no further action against Gamesys on the register, which covers decisions since November 2023. ## Games

Virgin Games' app listing promises slots, including jackpot slots and its own Originals, Slingo, and live roulette, blackjack and baccarat with real dealers. Its help centre adds 90-, 80- and 75-ball bingo and Session Bingo, bundles of 15 games played four times a day. In January 2026 it dropped its in-house poker games (Wild Seat Poker, cash games and tournaments), keeping live casino poker such as Live Casino Hold'em and video poker, and removed all its Light & Wonder games, including several MONOPOLY-branded slots. It doesn't publish a total game count. You'll find each game's return to player (RTP) under "More Info" or in the game itself. As at every licensed UK casino, slots are capped at £5 a spin, or £2 if you're 18 to 24, and Virgin Games caps its Rainbow Riches slot at £2 for everyone.

## Deposits and withdrawals

You can deposit from £10 by Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. PayPal is on its way out: on October 5, 2026 Virgin Games said it would stop working for deposits and withdrawals during October. Withdrawals start at £10 and go back to the last method you deposited with; Apple Pay and Google Pay withdrawals are paid to your bank account. Virgin Games processes withdrawals within 4 to 24 hours. After that, Visa Direct cards receive the money within 4 hours, Mastercard, bank accounts and Apple Pay within 1 working day, and other Visa debit cards within 3 working days. Card and wallet withdrawals go up to £25,000 at a time, bank withdrawals up to £250,000, and you can't cancel a withdrawal once you've requested it.

## App and experience

Virgin Games has the most-rated casino app in our UK ranking: 4.67 out of 5 from 44,469 ratings on the App Store, and 4.5 from about 26,600 ratings on Google Play, with more than 500,000 downloads (October 22, 2026).

## Safety, responsible gambling and support

You can set a net deposit limit or a deposit limit, daily, weekly or monthly, from £10 to £10,000, and Virgin Games also sets a limit on every account itself; where its limit is lower than yours, its limit applies. Session limits stop real-money play after 30 minutes to 4 hours. You can choose reminders every 30 minutes or every hour, Virgin Games reminds you of your session length anyway, and after 6 hours of continuous play you're asked to log out and take a break. Cool-offs run from 24 hours to 6 weeks, and self-exclusion, from 6 months to 5 years, closes your accounts at every Gamesys site, including Jackpotjoy; GAMSTOP and GamProtect apply too.

Support is by live chat, 24 hours a day; Virgin Games says it normally answers within 60 seconds. There's no phone line. Free, confidential help: the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, 24/7, and our [guide to gambling help in the UK](https://safebet.ai/uk/guides/gambling-help-uk/).

## Who is Virgin Games best for?

- **Mobile players**, with the most-rated casino app in our ranking.
- **Players who like variety**: slots, Slingo, live casino and bingo.
- **Not for** players who want PayPal, sports betting or an operator with a clean regulatory record.

## Our verdict

Virgin Games pairs a hugely popular app with fast processing and 24/7 chat, but its operator's £6 million fine in 2023 and the loss of PayPal keep it sixth in our UK ranking, a place behind its sister site Jackpotjoy.
