Bet Right review 2026
A new, licensed product that looks like a prediction market: outcomes priced from 1c to 99c in an exchange-style screen, where you can buy and sell. Legally, every trade is a fixed-odds bet with Bet Right.
InfoMarket, launched by the licensed bookmaker Bet Right with rules first published on August 17, 2026, is the nearest look to Polymarket you'll find legally in Australia: prices from 1c to 99c, shown as probabilities, in an exchange-style screen where you can buy a position and sell it before the result. But it isn't a market between punters: Bet Right's rules say every trade is a wager under Northern Territory law, with Bet Right on the other side at prices that include its margin. Its sites blocked us, so we couldn't check its live markets, payments or support, which holds it to fifth.

What is InfoMarket?
InfoMarket is a product of Bet Right, a licensed Australian bookmaker run by IRPSX Pty Ltd. In Bet Right’s words, it “displays wagering prices on approved declared sporting contingencies using cent-based pricing format through an exchange-style interface”. It ranks #5 in our ranking of the legal alternatives to prediction markets in Australia.
A note on our sources: infomarket.com.au and betright.com.au both blocked us, so this review relies on Bet Right’s published rule books and help centre, the Northern Territory’s and ACMA’s registers, and its app listings. We couldn’t see InfoMarket’s live markets, payment methods, withdrawal times or support hours, and we say so where it matters.
Is Bet Right licensed in Australia?
Yes. IRPSX Pty Ltd, ACN 087 708 898, trading as Bet Right, is licensed and regulated by the Northern Territory Wagering Commission. The Northern Territory’s list of licensed operators includes InfoMarkets (infomarket.com.au) under IRPSX, and ACMA’s register of licensed interactive gambling providers lists both betright.com.au and infomarket.com.au. Two customer disputes involving IRPSX were decided by the Northern Territory regulator, in December 2023 and September 2025; we haven’t assessed their outcomes. Check any site with our legality check.
How InfoMarket works
Each outcome has a price in cents, from 1c to 99c: the market-implied probability of the outcome, and the cost of a contract that pays $1.00 if it happens. You buy a position from 25 cents, and can sell it before the result, which Bet Right treats as a cash out.
It looks like a prediction market, but legally it isn’t one. Bet Right’s rules say every trade is a wager under the Northern Territory’s Racing and Wagering Act 2024, that Bet Right is the counterparty to every trade, and that the exchange-style display “does not alter the nature of the wagering contract”. The prices are set by Bet Right and include its margin; we found no published figure for it. Trades won’t be voided because you didn’t understand the price format, so make sure you do before you trade.
Event markets
InfoMarket’s rules list NFL, NBA, EPL, NHL, AFL and NRL markets, politics “where approved by the relevant regulatory authority”, and other declared contingencies. A separate rule book covers Bitcoin and Ethereum price markets, from 15-minute to annual, including higher or lower, price ranges and price milestones, settled on indices from FEX Global, which holds an Australian market licence. The Northern Territory declared the price of cryptocurrency a betting event on July 2, 2026. These short-dated yes/no bets on crypto prices look much like the binary options ASIC has banned for retail clients until October 1, 2031, but here they’re licensed as wagers; we found no ASIC statement on them.
Bet Right’s election markets are singles only: no multis, and no bonus bets. They’re settled on the initial official result, though Bet Right may defer settlement for recounts, legal or constitutional challenges or allegations of fraud. Where you live matters: Bet Right publishes a separate list of events approved for South Australian residents, copied from South Australia’s notice, which includes Australian, UK and US elections, papal elections, the Academy Awards and Eurovision, but no crypto or economic markets. We couldn’t check which markets are open on InfoMarket now, or whether politics has been approved for it.
Deposits, withdrawals and support
We couldn’t verify InfoMarket’s payment methods, withdrawal times or support hours, because its sites blocked us. As a licensed provider, Bet Right can’t accept credit cards or crypto, and must keep anyone registered with BetStop, the national self-exclusion register, from betting.
App and experience
The Bet Right - Sports Betting App is rated 4.69 out of 5 from 2,245 ratings on the Australian App Store, and 4.70 from 329 on Google Play (October 23, 2026), but neither store description mentions InfoMarket, so these ratings may not reflect it. Who is InfoMarket best for?
- Punters who think in probabilities, and want prices shown that way.
- Anyone who wants to sell a position before the result.
- Not for anyone who wants a market between punters (use Betfair), or a product with a longer track record.
Our verdict
InfoMarket brings the look of a prediction market to a licensed Australian bookmaker, but every trade is a bet with Bet Right, and it’s too new, and too hidden from us, to rank higher. Compare it in our ranking, or see the best InfoMarket alternatives.

Bet Right FAQ
Is InfoMarket a prediction market?
Not legally. Bet Right's rules say every trade on InfoMarket is a wager under Northern Territory law, with Bet Right as the counterparty, and that the exchange-style display doesn't change that. It looks like a prediction market, with prices in cents from 1c to 99c, but you're betting against the bookmaker, at prices that include its margin.
Is InfoMarket legal in Australia?
Yes. It's run by IRPSX Pty Ltd, trading as Bet Right, which is licensed by the Northern Territory Wagering Commission, and infomarket.com.au and betright.com.au are both on ACMA's register of licensed interactive gambling providers. Check any site with our legality check.
What does a price in cents mean on InfoMarket?
It's the market-implied probability of the outcome, and the cost of a contract that pays $1.00 if it happens. Prices run from 1c to 99c and include Bet Right's margin. Selling a position before the result counts as a cash out.
Can I bet on crypto prices with Bet Right?
Yes. The Northern Territory declared the price of cryptocurrency a betting event on July 2, 2026, and Bet Right's rules cover Bitcoin and Ethereum markets, such as higher or lower, price ranges and price milestones, settled on FEX Global's indices. Bet Right's separate list of events approved for South Australian residents doesn't include crypto.
