bet365 Casino is #1 in our ranking of online casinos licensed in Spain, and Betway Casino is #4 and our pick for the best casino app. Both have held licenses from Spain’s gambling regulator, the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego, DGOJ), since June 1, 2012.

They also share the joint-lightest DGOJ record of the 12 casinos we researched: one €10,000 fine each since 2021, under the same bonus rule, which the Supreme Court annulled in 2024, plus a 2022 written warning to bet365’s sports licensee. Larger operators have more players and more exposure, so read any record in that light, but the record won’t decide this pair.

Apps and experience

Betway Casino is the pick if you want a dedicated casino app. As of October 1, 2026:

Google Play counts may include ratings from outside Spain, and bet365’s main app also reflects its sportsbook. If you’re happy to use one app for sports and casino, bet365’s main app is rated almost as highly as Betway’s casino app; if you want a casino-only app, Betway’s is clearly the better rated. At both, as at every licensed Spanish casino, you set a time and spending limit before each casino session.

Games

bet365 Casino has the larger catalog. Its RTP table listed 2,560 slot-type games on September 22, 2026, with six months of actual returns for each, from a lobby with 44 providers. Betway Casino claimed “más de 1.200” (more than 1,200) games, including more than 800 slots, in an archived copy of its casino page from January 2026; we couldn’t check its current lobby or read its payout-percentage page from outside Spain.

Both have exclusives: bet365 Casino’s “Solo en bet365” (only at bet365) titles such as Gates of bet365, and Betway-branded games such as Gates of Betway, plus a live roulette table that Betway says Evolution built for it. Live casino at both is mostly roulette from Evolution and Playtech, since Spain’s blackjack rules have no live variant. Betway’s archived copy also advertised live baccarat, although Betway Spain gave up its baccarat license in November 2022, so treat that copy as out of date.

Bonuses

At the time of writing (October 2026), only bet365 Casino’s welcome terms could be verified in full: a 100% match up to €200 from a €10 minimum deposit, paid as bonus funds that must be wagered 30 times within 30 days on 20 selected slots, with a maximum bet of 10% of the bonus per round. It adds five €1 golden chips for RNG roulette and blackjack, each used within 7 days, whose winnings are withdrawable without wagering.

Betway Casino advertises a welcome offer for new customers, subject to conditions on Betway’s site. We don’t show its amount because we couldn’t verify its wagering requirement, expiry or maximum bet, and Betway’s own pages differ on whether you must register through its app to qualify. Payouts and banking

bet365 Casino lists faster withdrawals: one to four hours by card, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and bank transfer, and instant by Apple Pay, from €5 by card. In the January 2026 archived copy, Betway Casino said it needs 24 hours to process a withdrawal, after which modern methods take about a day and bank transfers or some cards up to 72 hours. We couldn’t verify its current times or minimum withdrawal.

Both list Bizum (Spain’s instant bank-payment app), PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and paysafecard; Betway’s site also lists Trustly, and bet365’s lists Apple Pay and Google Pay. bet365 Casino takes Bizum for deposits only and pays withdrawals by bank transfer instead; whether Betway Casino pays out to Bizum couldn’t be verified. Choose bet365 Casino if you want the bigger game list, withdrawals listed at one to four hours, 24/7 live chat (provided by an AI agent, according to its help pages) and terms you can check in full before you deposit.

Choose Betway Casino if you play mostly on your phone and want the best-rated iOS casino app among the casinos we rank. Check its current welcome terms, withdrawal times and support channels on Betway’s site first, since we couldn’t verify them.

Using both only makes sense if each covers a need the other doesn’t; it won’t improve your chances.
