Jackpotjoy review 2026

What is Jackpotjoy?

Jackpotjoy is an online bingo and casino brand run by Gamesys Operations Limited, which also runs Virgin Games, MONOPOLY Casino, Double Bubble Bingo, Rainbow Riches Casino and Bally Casino. It ranks #5 in our ranking of the best online casinos in the UK.

Is Jackpotjoy licensed in the UK?

Yes. Gamesys Operations Limited has held a Gambling Commission remote licence for casino and bingo since November 1, 2014, and for betting since 2016 (account 38905, licence 038905-R-319430-023), and jackpotjoy.com is on the Commission’s public register. Its record isn’t clean. On November 22, 2023 the Commission fined Gamesys £6,071,292, including a divestment of £165,042, issued an official warning and added a condition to its licence, after finding anti-money-laundering and customer-interaction failures between November 2021 and July 2022. The Commission found no evidence that the customers it looked at had deposited criminal money. We found no further action against Gamesys on the register, which covers decisions since November 2023. Games

Bingo is Jackpotjoy’s speciality: 90-ball bingo with one-line, two-line and full-house prizes, 80-ball and 75-ball bingo, and Session Bingo, bundles of 15 games played at 10:00, 15:00, 19:00 and 23:00 every day. Its bingo chat rooms closed at 22:00 on April 30, 2026. Its app listing adds hundreds of slots, Slingo and a live casino with blackjack, roulette and game shows, and Jackpotjoy also runs a sportsbook with live streams on selected events. On January 30, 2026 it removed all its Light & Wonder games, including several MONOPOLY-branded slots. It doesn’t publish a total game count. You’ll find each game’s return to player (RTP) in its “More Info” section or in the game itself. As at every licensed UK casino, slots are capped at £5 a spin, or £2 if you’re 18 to 24, and Jackpotjoy caps its Rainbow Riches slot at £2 for everyone.

Deposits and withdrawals

You can deposit from £10 by Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or instant bank transfer; PayPal isn’t on the list. Withdrawals start at £10 and go back to the last method you deposited with; Google Pay withdrawals go to your bank account instead. Jackpotjoy processes withdrawals within 4 to 24 hours. After that, Visa Direct cards receive the money within 4 hours, Mastercard and bank accounts within 1 working day, Apple Pay usually within 24 hours, and other Visa debit cards within 3 working days. Card and wallet withdrawals go up to £25,000 at a time, bank withdrawals up to £250,000, and you can’t cancel a withdrawal once you’ve requested it.

App and experience

Jackpotjoy’s iOS app is rated 4.69 out of 5 from 33,473 ratings on the UK App Store, and its Android app 4.5 from about 17,100 ratings on Google Play, with more than 500,000 downloads (October 22, 2026). Only its sister site Virgin Games has a more-rated app in our ranking.

Safety, responsible gambling and support

You can set a net deposit limit or a deposit limit, daily, weekly or monthly, from £10 to £10,000, and Jackpotjoy also sets a limit on every account itself; where its limit is lower than yours, its limit applies. Session limits stop real-money play after 30 minutes to 4 hours, reminders show how long you’ve been playing every hour, and after 6 hours you’re asked to log out and take a break. You can take a cool-off of 24 hours to 6 weeks, or self-exclude for 6 months to 5 years, which closes your accounts at every Gamesys site; GAMSTOP and GamProtect apply too.

Support is by live chat, 24 hours a day; Jackpotjoy says it normally answers within 60 seconds. There’s no phone line. Free, confidential help: the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, 24/7, and our guide to gambling help in the UK.

Who is Jackpotjoy best for?

• Bingo players, with three bingo formats and daily Session Bingo.
• Players who want help at any hour, with 24/7 live chat.
• Not for players who want PayPal, or an operator with a clean regulatory record.

Our verdict

Jackpotjoy is the best bingo site in our ranking, with fast processing, round-the-clock chat and one of the most-rated casino apps in the UK. Its operator’s £6 million fine in 2023 keeps it below the clean-record casinos above it.
