JackpotPiraten review 2026

What is JackpotPiraten?

JackpotPiraten is an online slot site run by DGGS Deutsche Gesellschaft für Glücksspiel mbH, a Berlin company that is a joint venture of the Merkur Group and Novomatic, two of Germany’s biggest slot makers. The same company runs BingBong. It ranks #3 in our ranking of the best online slot sites in Germany.

Is JackpotPiraten legal in Germany?

Yes. DGGS has held a GGL licence for virtual slot machines across Germany since April 27, 2022, among the first issued, and jackpotpiraten.de is on the GGL’s whitelist. It offers slots only: JackpotPiraten says it offers no games such as roulette or blackjack. We found no public warning against it on the GGL’s site as of October 22, 2026. Check any site with our German licence check.

Games

JackpotPiraten lists 858 slots and how many come from each of its 15 studios: Play’n GO (192), Novomatic’s Greentube (165), Merkur (115), Gamomat (72), Pragmatic Play (56), Swintt, Apparat Gaming, Amatic, Hölle Games and others. It stands out for transparency: a public page lists the RTP of every slot, and the site says many of its games return 94% on average. As at every licensed site, there are no autospins and at least 5 seconds between spins; its FAQ puts the maximum stake at €5 per round, the top of the range a GGL guideline has allowed since July 2026, and most slots start at €0.01 to €0.20. Demo play is available after registration.

Deposits and withdrawals

Deposits start at €1, with no fees, by PayPal, Klarna, Trustly, online transfer, bank transfer, Mastercard, Visa or Apple Pay; bank transfers take 1 to 3 days to arrive. Withdrawals are more limited: only to PayPal or a bank account, from €1, with no fees and no maximum. JackpotPiraten says it processes withdrawals in about 6 hours on average, usually within 2 to 24 hours; PayPal then pays out shortly after, and a bank transfer takes 1 to 3 working days. Your account must be fully verified first.

App and experience

JackpotPiraten has no native app for iOS or Android: the site runs in your phone’s browser. That’s the main reason for its lower app score.

Safety, responsible gambling and support

JackpotPiraten offers deposit, stake, net-loss and play-time limits for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days (lowering takes effect at once, raising after 7 days), reality checks, the 24-hour panic button and OASIS self-exclusion, on top of the €1,000 monthly LUGAS limit.

Support is available every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. by live chat, email ([email protected]) and a free hotline (030 754 395 20); JackpotPiraten says chat replies take about two minutes and emails under eight hours on average. Free, anonymous help: the BIÖG helpline on 0800 1 37 27 00, and our guide to gambling help in Germany.

Who is JackpotPiraten best for?

• Players who check RTPs before they pick a slot.
• Players who prefer a German company with a German phone line.
• Small depositors, from €1.
• Not for players who want an app or card withdrawals.

Our verdict

JackpotPiraten is the most transparent slot site in our ranking, with a German operator, published RTPs and low minimums. No app and only two ways to withdraw keep it third. Compare it in our German ranking, or see the best JackpotPiraten alternatives.
