What is StarGames?
StarGames is an online slot site run by Greentube Malta Limited, focused on the arcade classics German players know from Novoline, Merkur and Bally Wulff. It ranks #5 in our ranking of the best online slot sites in Germany.
A note on our sources: StarGames’ website loads its content with scripts that we couldn’t read, and no readable 2026 copy exists in the Internet Archive, so this review relies on the GGL whitelist and StarGames’ own App Store listing.
Is StarGames legal in Germany?
Yes. Greentube Malta Limited has held a GGL licence for virtual slot machines at stargames.de since February 2, 2023, renewed on February 13, 2025, and the site is on the GGL’s whitelist. It has no state licence for table games, so it offers slots only. We found no public warning against it on the GGL’s site as of October 22, 2026. Check any site with our German licence check.
Games
StarGames’ app listing advertises “more than 1,500 online slots in one place” from 18 studios: Greentube, Novoline, Merkur, Bally Wulff, Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Hölle Games, Gamomat, Games Global, Apparat Gaming, Synot, Red Tiger, Nolimit City, Play’n GO, ELK Studios, Push Gaming, Blueprint and Swintt. That makes it one of the biggest libraries of German-style slots. As at every licensed site, there’s no autoplay, every spin lasts at least 5 seconds, and stakes are €1 per spin as a rule.
Deposits and withdrawals
StarGames’ app listing names eleven ways to pay in and out: PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, my paysafecard, Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap, Neteller, Aircash, Sofort and Klarna. It says its automatic payout system transfers winnings to your account within minutes. It doesn’t say which methods take withdrawals, what the minimums are or whether there are fees, in the sources we could read.
App and experience
StarGames’ iOS app, StarGames: Slots mit Echtgeld, is rated 4.65 out of 5 from 12,885 ratings on Germany’s App Store (October 22, 2026), the second most of any real-money slots app we found. We found no StarGames app on Google Play in Germany.
Safety, responsible gambling and support
As a licensed site, StarGames applies the legal safeguards: the €1,000 monthly LUGAS deposit limit, the 24-hour panic button and OASIS self-exclusion. Its app listing points to the official help sites buwei.de and check-dein-spiel.de, but we couldn’t check which additional limits it offers. Support is by live chat and email; StarGames doesn’t publish its hours in the sources we could read.

Who is StarGames best for?
- Fans of German arcade classics from Novoline, Merkur and Bally Wulff.
- iPhone players who want a well-rated app.
- Not for players who want to read the payment terms and support hours before signing up.
Our verdict
StarGames has one of the biggest libraries of German-style slots and one of the most popular apps, but it publishes too little that we could verify about payments, limits and support to rank higher. Compare it in our German ranking, or see the best StarGames alternatives.
