Pinnacle review 2026

The low-margin sportsbook, registered in Ontario: Pinnacle says its prices average a 2% margin against about 6% elsewhere, with no commission, but no app and no cash out.

We only link to sportsbooks registered in Ontario (AGCO and iGaming Ontario) or Alberta (AGLC and the Alberta iGaming Corporation). Each is legal only in the provinces shown, and you must be 19+ in Ontario and 18+ in Alberta.

7.5 /10

Pinnacle is the sportsbook for bettors who care most about price: it's the only one in our ranking that publishes its margin, an average of 2% against an industry average of about 6%, and it charges no commission on winnings. It's registered in Ontario with no AGCO penalty on record. It ranks fifth because it's Ontario-only, has no native app, no cash out and no bet builder, and charges $5 for every withdrawal after your first free one each month.

What is Pinnacle?

Pinnacle is a sportsbook that says it has offered bettors “a unique alternative to other bookmakers” since 1998: low margins and no commission, rather than promotions and extras. In Ontario it’s run by Pinny (Ontario) Limited, and Pinnacle group companies also hold licences in Malta, Sweden, Curaçao and Anjouan; it doesn’t accept bets from the US. It ranks #5 in our ranking of the best sports betting sites in Canada.

In Ontario only. Pinny (Ontario) Limited is registered with the AGCO under number OPIG1236075, and iGaming Ontario lists it as Play Pinnacle at pinnacle.ca. You must be 19+ and physically in Ontario, and Pinnacle’s help centre says you can’t use your Pinnacle.ca account when you travel outside the province. It isn’t registered in Alberta. Odds, limits and margins

This is why Pinnacle is in our ranking. It’s the only sportsbook we review that publishes its margin: its help centre says “Pinnacle averages 102% (2% margin), compared to the industry average of around 106%”, and it charges no commission on winning bets. For context, Ontario’s sportsbooks together kept 6.81% of cash wagers in 2025–26, according to iGaming Ontario. Pinnacle’s terms prohibit automated collection of its odds, so we haven’t measured its prices ourselves; to compare it with another book on the same game, use our sportsbook margin calculator.

Its limits:

  • Minimum stakes: US$1 on parlays and US$2 on other bets, or the equivalent.
  • Maximum stakes: vary by event and market.
  • Parlays: 2 to 10 selections, with payouts on multiples capped at $250,000 per calendar day.

Sports, markets and features

Pinnacle lists 34 sport categories, from hockey, football, basketball, baseball and soccer to curling, cricket, Formula One, golf, MMA and esports. Its features are deliberately thin:

  • Live betting, with live bets held as “waiting” for a short time before acceptance, and a Live Centre with overview and multi-view; we found no live streaming.
  • No cash out, according to its help centre.
  • No bet builder, and same-game parlays may be restricted when the selections are related, such as a handicap and a total on the same game.

Deposits and withdrawals

Method Deposit Withdrawal Withdrawal time
Interac e-Transfer Free; $25 minimum; up to $10,000 a time, $30,000 a day $5 (after one free a month); $25–$25,000 a time Within one business day
MuchBetter Free; $15 minimum $5 (after one free a month); from $10 Minutes to an hour
Visa, Mastercard Free; $25 minimum; up to $7,000 a time $5 (after one free a month); $20–$2,500 Within a few minutes, up to 5 banking days to arrive

Each customer gets one free withdrawal per calendar month. Pinnacle may charge a 5% processing fee if you withdraw a deposit without wagering it at least once, and cryptocurrency isn’t allowed in Ontario.

App and experience

Pinnacle has no native app: its help centre says so, and we found none in Canada’s App Store. You bet through its mobile website, which keeps the experience basic. That’s the main reason for its low experience score.

Safety, responsible gambling and support

We found no AGCO news release naming Pinnacle or Pinny (Ontario) Limited as of October 22, 2026. Its tools include daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, with increases after a 24-hour cooling-off period, loss limits, session limits, time-outs of 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months, self-exclusion for 6 months, 1, 3 or 5 years, and account deactivation. Pinnacle also recommends enrolling in BetGuard.

Support is by live chat and email at [email protected]. Pinnacle says it responds to complaints within 72 hours, and unresolved disputes can go to iGaming Ontario. The site is available in French.

Who is Pinnacle best for?

  • Price-sensitive bettors who shop for the best line.
  • Bettors who place many bets, where a lower margin adds up.
  • Not for casual bettors who want an app, cash out or same-game parlays, or anyone outside Ontario.

Our verdict

Pinnacle offers the best published prices in Canada and no commission, with a clean record. Its missing app, cash out and bet builder, its withdrawal fees and its Ontario-only reach make it a specialist’s book, at #5 in our Canadian sportsbook ranking.
