FanDuel Sportsbook has the best-rated sportsbook app in Canada, 4.8 from more than 48,000 ratings on Canada's App Store, with same-game parlays, player props, live betting and partial cash out, and a US$1,000,000 maximum payout per bet. In Canada it’s run by FanDuel Canada ULC, which in Ontario operates on behalf of iGaming Ontario; the same company runs FanDuel Casino, whose games are also in the sportsbook app. It ranks #2 in our ranking of the best sports betting sites in Canada.
Is FanDuel Sportsbook legal in Canada?

| Province | Regulator | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Ontario | AGCO, through iGaming Ontario | On iGaming Ontario’s list of regulated sites, at on.sportsbook.fanduel.ca. 19+. |

Sports, markets and features
FanDuel’s Ontario sports rules cover about 40 sports and event types, from American football, ice hockey, basketball, baseball and soccer to curling, lacrosse, cricket, darts, golf, MMA and esports, plus entertainment specials.
- Same Game Parlay: combine selections from one game; other related-outcome parlays aren’t allowed unless FanDuel offers them this way.
- Player props and in-play betting, according to FanDuel’s app listing.
- Cash out: settle a bet in whole or in part before the event ends, at FanDuel’s discretion.
- Live streams and data feeds, which FanDuel’s rules warn may be delayed.
Odds, limits and margins
FanDuel doesn’t publish its margins, and we don’t collect odds automatically. Across Ontario’s market, sportsbooks kept 6.81% of cash wagers in 2025–26, according to iGaming Ontario; our sportsbook margin calculator shows what any market costs you and which of two books pays more.
FanDuel’s Ontario house rules cap the payout on any single bet, or combination of bets on the same event or outcome, at US$1,000,000, including Same Game Parlays, and FanDuel sets minimum and maximum stakes bet by bet.
Deposits and withdrawals
FanDuel’s Canadian help pages now redirect to its US help centre, so we couldn’t confirm its Canadian payment methods or limits on an official page. Its app listing says “payouts in as little as 2 hours”, while its Ontario terms commit to “commercially reasonable efforts to process your withdrawal request within 5 working days”. Each credit-card chargeback you start costs $5. If you want published, fast payouts, bet365 lists 1 to 4 hours by Interac, card and PayPal.
App and experience
FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino is the best-rated sportsbook app on Canada’s App Store, at 4.8 out of 5 from 48,597 ratings, but it’s rated 4.0 from about 19,800 ratings on Google Play (October 22, 2026).
Safety, responsible gambling and support
On January 8, 2026, the AGCO ordered FanDuel to pay $350,000 for failing to identify, respond to and report unusual and suspicious betting: between October 23 and November 30, 2024, it accepted 144 bets from three Ontario accounts on Czech table tennis matches with clear match-fixing red flags, and betting on them continued for weeks.
FanDuel lets you set limits and take breaks, runs its own self-exclusion program, and its Ontario terms point to BetGuard, iGaming Ontario’s central self-exclusion. We couldn’t confirm its Canadian support hours; unresolved Ontario complaints can go to iGaming Ontario at 1-833-554-4263.

Who is FanDuel Sportsbook best for?
- iPhone bettors who want the best-rated sportsbook app.
- Parlay and prop bettors, with same-game parlays and partial cash out.
- Not for bettors who want firmly published payout times or a spotless record.
Our verdict
FanDuel Sportsbook has the best-rated app in Canada and a complete set of betting features. It ranks second, behind bet365, because its payouts are loosely published and because of its $350,000 AGCO penalty.
