What is Midnite?

Midnite is a sports betting and casino brand whose app first appeared on the App Store in 2020. Its sportsbook has separate Sports and Esports sections. It ranks #5 in our ranking of the best betting sites in the UK.

Is Midnite licensed in the UK?

Yes. Midnite’s terms (updated September 21, 2026) name Midnite Limited, incorporated in Gibraltar, as the operator for UK customers. It has held a Gambling Commission licence for remote betting on real and virtual events, pool betting, casino and bingo since August 11, 2026 (account 101839, licence 101839-R-342850-002), and www.midnite.com is on the Commission’s public register. Midnite’s earlier operator, Dribble Media Limited of London, still holds its own licence (account 42647), with betting on real events since December 18, 2018, and still publishes the iOS app.

We found no fine, settlement or other regulatory action against either company in the Commission’s regulatory action register, which covers decisions since November 2023, or in its enforcement news since March 2021. Check any site with our UK licence check.

Sports, markets and features

Midnite has betting rules for football, horse racing and greyhounds, tennis, cricket, darts, snooker, golf, American football, basketball, baseball, ice hockey, MMA, boxing, both rugby codes and more, and for eight esports titles: Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Dota 2, Call of Duty, StarCraft II, Free Fire, PUBG and e-soccer. You can bet in-play, combine several selections from one match with Bet Builder (if one selection is void, the whole bet is void), and cash out on selected markets. Its rules mention its own streams, but we couldn’t find their conditions.

Its racing terms are unusually open. Midnite publishes its standard each-way place terms, from win only with four runners or fewer to a quarter of the odds for four places in handicaps of 16 or more runners, and pays out on the first horse past the post as well as the official result in UK and Irish races. Best Odds Guaranteed, though, is by invitation only, for UK and Irish races from 9am on race day.

Odds and limits

Midnite doesn’t publish its margins, and we don’t collect its odds: its terms let it act against anyone who uses automated systems to copy or extract data from its services, “sometimes referred to as ‘screen scraping’”, or makes commercial use of its odds. Our margin calculator shows what any market costs you.

Its payout caps are the lowest in our top five, and apply whatever you stake: £250,000 on top football competitions (the Premier League, the EFL, the FA Cup and League Cup, Europe’s top leagues, the men’s World Cup and Euros, and the Champions League and Europa League) and on UK and Irish racing; £100,000 on other football and on the NFL, NBA and other top competitions in several sports; £25,000 on esports; and £10,000 on politics and other non-sporting events. On top of that, your total winnings are capped at £250,000 per calendar day. We didn’t find a published minimum stake.

Deposits and withdrawals

You can deposit from £5 by Visa or Mastercard debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank (in a web browser for now) or Revolut Pay; Midnite’s table lists £5,000 as the maximum deposit and withdrawal for each. You can only have one active payment method at a time, and credit cards aren’t accepted.

Midnite says most withdrawals are processed within minutes, and it aims to process all of them within 72 hours; in some cases they take up to 5 working days. Its payments table lists up to 72 hours for Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay, instant to 1 to 3 business days for Pay by Bank, and up to 5 business days for debit cards. We didn’t find any mention of withdrawal fees.

App and experience

Midnite’s app is rated 4.69 out of 5 from 14,114 ratings on the UK App Store and 4.59 from 4,932 on Google Play (October 22, 2026), well rated but by far fewer bettors than the other apps in our top five.

Safety, responsible gambling and support

Midnite builds limits into every account: a deposit limit and a loss limit that it sets itself, over a rolling 30 days, which are mandatory and can’t be changed or removed. You can add loss and net spend limits of your own (a lower loss limit applies at once, a higher one after 24 hours); its help centre still lists deposit limits you set yourself as “coming soon” in an August 2026 article. Reality checks every 10, 20 or 30 minutes or every hour cover casino, live casino and virtuals; cool-offs run from 1 to 30 days and self-exclusion from 6 months to 5 years, and it recommends GAMSTOP.

Support is by live chat, where an AI bot answers first, by email at [email protected], through a Telegram bot or by post. There’s no phone line, and we couldn’t find its hours. Free, confidential help: the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, 24/7, and our guide to gambling help in the UK.

Who is Midnite best for?

  • Esports bettors, with rules for eight titles.
  • Racing bettors who like clear terms, with published each-way terms.
  • Bettors who want limits built in.
  • Not for big bettors: winnings are capped at £250,000 a day.

Our verdict

Midnite combines a clean record, esports and clear terms, which earns it a place in our UK top five. Its low payout caps and invitation-only Best Odds Guaranteed keep it fifth. Compare it in our UK ranking, or see the best Midnite alternatives.
