What is bet-at-home?

bet-at-home is a sportsbook run by Bet-at-home.com Internet Limited in Malta, which also offers slots in Germany. It ranks #5 in our ranking of the best betting sites in Germany.

Is bet-at-home legal in Germany?

Yes. Bet-at-home.com Internet Limited has held a German sports betting licence since November 2, 2020; its current licence, issued by the Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt on December 22, 2022, is supervised by the GGL, and bet-at-home.de is on the GGL’s whitelist. It also holds a licence for virtual slot machines from December 28, 2022. We found no public warning against it on the GGL’s site as of October 22, 2026. The betting tax: only on winning bets

bet-at-home’s terms (section B.1) retain “a share of 5.3%” of real-money winnings, and its help centre puts it this way: stakes are subject to the 5.3% betting tax, which is deducted from the win. Losing bets cost nothing extra, bonus money is exempt, and a winning €100 bet at odds of 2.00 pays back €194.70. Our betting tax calculator compares this with books that pay the tax themselves.

Sports, markets and features

bet-at-home offers single, combination and system bets, live betting within Germany’s limits, and markets from 1X2 and double chance to handicaps, Asian handicaps, spreads and over/under. Its bet builder combines several picks from one game, and you can combine it with other games or other bet builders. Cash out works on singles, combinations and bet builders, partially or automatically, though not on system bets or with bonus money, and the amount is based on current odds minus a processing fee. There’s also Re-Bet and match statistics, but no streaming that we found. bet-at-home doesn’t publish fixed maximum wins: its limits vary by market, and a bet above the limit can be placed at a lower stake or sent for manual review.

Deposits and withdrawals

This is bet-at-home’s strength: its terms list every method’s limits and charge no fees. Deposits start at €10 by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Klarna, Trustly, Skrill, Neteller or paysafecard, up to €5,000 or €10,000 depending on the method. Withdrawals start at €1 by bank transfer or paysafecard, €5 by PayPal and €10 by card, Skrill or Neteller. bet-at-home processes every withdrawal within 24 hours; PayPal, paysafecard, Skrill and Neteller then pay out immediately, and bank and card withdrawals take up to 3 bank days. You can only withdraw to a method you’ve deposited with.

App and experience

bet-at-home’s iOS app is rated 4.32 out of 5 from 1,803 ratings on Germany’s App Store, last updated in January 2026 (October 22, 2026). Its help centre says there’s an Android app too, but we found only bet-at-home’s slots app on Google Play.

Safety, responsible gambling and support

bet-at-home explains each step of the deposit limit: up to €1,000 a month directly, up to €10,000 after a SCHUFA check, and more only with documents. You can add deposit, stake and loss limits by day, week or month, ask support for a session limit, and hold the panic button for three seconds to lock yourself out for 24 hours, which is reported to OASIS and can’t be lifted early.
